Service Description
Although open to new students, this class will continue the lessons on environmental science, penguin science, and thermodynamics. They will learn about penguins and their habitat, what happens in a changing world, and how ecosystems change. They will build a solar oven, and a thermos. They will also get a chance to build a house and see heat loss through infared photography. By the end of class, the students will be tasked with creating a habitat where a penguin (penguin shaped ice cube) will need to survive a heat box for up to 10 minutes. ***Materials Fee $20
